These cables basically act as the carrier of data from one device to another. Depending on how you are going to use them, there are many types of cables you can choose from. Another type of network cables is the coaxial cable that is composed of an innermost copper core, inner insulator, a copper shield, and, most of the time, an outermost insulating sheath. This may have reminded you if a shielded cable. Indeed, they are very similar. However, they differ in one major point: the coaxial cable requires constant spacing in order to work properly. Furthermore, shielded cables can be comprised of more than one insulated conductors and a shield that reduces electrical noise from other devices nearby.
